Kim-Bea Wassermann

My name is Kim-Bea Waßermann, I am 23 years old and I am proud to be the next commissioner External Relations International of SCOPE - Maastricht.

I grew up in Duisburg, Germany, where I graduated from high school in 2015. During my bachelor studies in trade management I worked part time in the automotive sector and early figured out that I want to work and study in an international environment. I had the possibility to study abroad in Guadalajara, Mexico, before I finished my bachelor’s degree in 2018. Afterwards I spent some time travelling around the Globe and worked in a consultancy in Cologne before I finally ended up in Maastricht to do my Pre-master’s in international business.

In my free time you can usually find my doing sports, hanging out with friends, cooking, or trying to improve my photography skills.

I joined SCOPE as a passive member in February 2020 when I began my studies at SBE. While attending different activities of SCOPE, the association sparked my interest and I wanted to become an active part of it. The opportunity to become a board member came along and I knew this was something that I wanted to do for the upcoming year.

I am convinced that this year will be a challenge for all of us, but I believe that in every crisis there is a chance and that we all together will succeed at developing SCOPE while developing ourselves. I aim to stay in line with the work of the previous externals while using my outside perspective to bring in new leads for the benefit of the association and the entire student population. I am very excited about the new experiences and challenges throughout the upcoming academic year and I cannot wait to meet lots of new people on the way.
