Myrthe Den Braber
My name is Myrthe den Braber, and I feel honoured to be the president of SCOPE for the 2020-2021 academic year.
I am 25-years old and grew up in the northern part of the Netherlands. Currently, I am finishing the MSc Strategic Corporate Finance. Prior to this, I obtained a Bachelor in International Business with a specialisation in Finance and Accounting, as well as a specialization in Supply Chain Management from Kedge Business School (Bordeaux, France) as part of a Double Degree Program.
Having been an active student throughout my studies, I had the opportunity to partake in a wide range of extracurricular activities. Over the last academic year, I got the chance to be SCOPE active member as part of the ICC@M committee, which allowed me to appreciate the value that SCOPE provides, on so many fronts, to both the university and the students. Being the proposed SCOPE president for the next academic year is a challenge that I am excited to face and grow into. The coming year will undoubtedly allow me to build on my current capabilities, skills and passion for organization.
Although the coming year may be an unpredictable year and impact of the pandemic is expected to affect operations and events, SCOPE can play a vital role in connecting students to each other and external partners in a time where networking and socializing comes with restrictions. During the coming year, I will work hard to keep building on the legacy handed to us by our predecessors.
I am looking forward to working together with my fellow board members and pillar coordinators to create another amazing SCOPE year. As the coming year will be the second lustrum of the SCOPE name, we will have an opportunity to celebrate all that SCOPE offers to the SBE students, but also all that students and partners have contributed to SCOPE over the past years
