Sigma Finance

Sigma Finance is a financial think tank and knowledge hub for capital markets and banking, founded by students of the School of Business and Economics Maastricht in 2017. The aim of the association is to support students on their journey into the world of Finance. Sigma Finance consists of two pillars, namely financial literacy skills and expert knowledge. Every academic period's content is designed corresponding to a theme, which is inspired by current events. Themes might include: FinTech, Investors and Investments or Valuation methods. The aforementioned two pillars are then executed as financial methods training sessions (supported by the finance department) and Guest talks (held by international companies), respectively.

Join our weekly meetings in the School of Business & Economics on Wednesdays from 6.30 - 8.30 pm and become an active or passive member of our dynamic community!

SCOPE | Vectum

SCOPE | Vectum isthe study association for all students of Econometrics and Operations Research at the Maastricht University. Throughout the year SCOPE | Vectum organizes a broad range of activities. The range of activities covers social events, such as drinks, sports events and a Members Weekend, as well as academic and career-related events. SCOPE | Vectum's main goal, however, is to offer the students insights into real world applications outside the university. The most important way we achieve this is by establishing a direct link between companies and the students.
