Join us in a visit to the European Commission and the European Parliament, get information about their work and your future in the EU!
This trip brings a group consists of 25 or more students who gather in Maastricht and take the train to Brussels. For the journey, they receive a lunch package. During the presentations the students are informed about the institutions visited and career prospects there. Moreover, students get to see the capital of Belgium.
The aim of the trip is to connect the European Commission to the students of Maastricht University School of Business and Economics. As an international university, the importance of such institutions and collaboration with different nationalities is emphasised in our curriculum. Attending students, are provided with a unique chance to gain insights into the institutions and familiarize themselves with their values, goals, environment, and organizational structure from a very close perspective.
The target group will be mainly bachelor students, interested in working in governmental institutions or NGOs. In general, targeted more towards Emerging Markets and Economics Students but could also target IB students interested in such institutions
