Guest Lecture - De Nederlandsche Bank

Guest Lecture - De Nederlandsche Bank February 19th, 2018

The Risk Management (RM) department within De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) has a responsible task. RM focuses on the financial risks on the balance sheet of the central bank, which have a bigger size than ever before. We manage EUR 50 billion of own investments, play a key role in the execution of the purchase programmes with a value of EUR 30 billion/month and secure the financial stability of the Eurosystem. These responsibilities ask for a solid risk management framework in tight collaboration with the management board of DNB. The complex risks on banks and countries (like Greece), the various monetary purchase programmes and our own investments do make our department an awesome knowledge institute. Do you want to know more about a day in the life of a risk manager, our complex challenges or simply about working at DNB? You are more than welcome to visit our guest college on Monday February 19th!
