Ilinca Esanu – Treasurer

Hi everyone!  

My name is Ilinca Valeria Esanu, and I am looking forward to be taking on the role of Treasurer for the 2026-2027 academic year. I am 20 years old, originally from a central town in Moldova.  

I have recently completed my 2nd year in international business and am enthusiastic to complete my bachelor's in the years that follow with a specialization in accounting.  

Prior to my board year I was a member of the volunteering and business case competition committees. As an active member, I gained experience that helped me with my professional and social skills, but also I have met so many interesting characters and made some great friendships. Therefore, I was very motivated to join the SCOPE board as to bring value to a community that has given much to me.  

As Treasurer, my priority will be to protect SCOPE's financial health and make sure our resources are handled with care and accountability. This means monitoring cash flow closely, maintaining clear and accurate bookkeeping, leading the budgeting process, and putting together our financial reports. Beyond my role, I hope to be a reliable member that my board can seek out when they require a helping hand.
