Julian Targosz - Treasurer

Hi everyone!

My name is Julian Targosz, and I am delighted to take on the role of Treasurer of SCOPE for the 2025–2026 academic year. I am 21 years old, originally from a small coastal city in Poland. At Maastricht University, I recently completed the second year of my Bachelor’s in Economics and Business Economics, specialising in Economics, and I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in European Law with a minor in Business and Law.

What motivated me to join SCOPE is its dynamic character and the wide range of activities it offers to students — from professional development to international networking, as well as its strong social side that brings people together. I am excited to work closely with my fellow board members and active members, and I am proud to now play a part in supporting these initiatives.

In my position as Treasurer, I will focus on safeguarding SCOPE’s financial stability and ensuring that our resources are managed responsibly. This involves overseeing cash flow, keeping our accounts transparent and accurate, coordinating the budgeting process, and preparing financial statements. At the same time, I will work on anticipating SCOPE’s future financial needs and planning strategically so that the association has a strong foundation to build on.
