Social Commissioner

Hello everyone,

My name is Victor Jolain, and I am very happy to take on the role of Social Commissioner for the academic year 2026-2027. I am 20 years old, starting my board year, and I grew up in the north of France in a quite international environment. At Maastricht University, I just completed my second year studying Economics and Business Economics.  

I joined SCOPE last academic year as Operations Manager for the Career and Development Days (CDDs), which was a very rewarding experience. Being an active member allowed me to contribute meaningfully to our association, and seeing our projects come to life motivated me to step up to a board position. I have always appreciated SCOPE's dynamic character and its strong social side, and I am excited to work closely with my fellow board members to keep bringing people together and help this amazing community continue to grow. 

As Social Commissioner, I'll focus on the experiences people have at SCOPE and organize engaging events for everyone that create lifelong memories while also building skills for our active members. This involves coordinating contracts, selecting the best venues, and managing overall event logistics. Whether we meet at the SCOPE office, Preuv, or any other event, my objective is to ensure that our association provides a safe place and a welcoming environment for all of our members to connect, relax, and build lasting relationships.
