Description
Are you interested in learning what really goes on inside an accounting and consultancy firm? And do you want a kick-start to your career? Be smart and combine your studies with an internship or student job at Joanknecht, so you can put theory directly into practice!
We believe in: making future together! Every day, our dedicated team works hard for our customers in the Brainport region from one office in Eindhoven. We are a young, professional company that gives you space to be yourself. We're anything but a conventional accounting firm. Innovation and technology are high on our agenda. Above all, we have a broad perspective of the development of our people. And we're Great Place To Work Certified!
Why an internship or part-time job at Joanknecht?
We are an accredited training company and can offer a good learning environment characterised by:
- A friendly work atmosphere and the people-to-people contact like in a small organisation; we all know one another!
- Good balance between working together for clients, getting things done and relaxation;
- Working as one team, with mostly young people -> as an intern, you're valued as a full-fledged employee on client assignments;
- An introduction programme at the start of your internship to make sure you get to know our people and Joanknecht as a company;
- A modern workplace and pleasant home base;
- High quality commitment in a professional working environment;
- Some of the nicest clients in the Brainport region;
- Opportunities to join us full time after you graduate;
- A personal approach to furthering your career, taking into account your wishes, ambitions and private circumstances;
- All the freedom and space you need to present and implement your own initiatives and ideas.
The internship
As an intern, you are generally given certain conditions from your educational institution. We look at these conditions closely during the introductory and final job interviews to see if and how we can make your internship a success: instructive for you, and it fulfils the requirements of your education and gives our organisation a better image of you. A win-win situation. And perhaps you can join us after your internship (and after finishing your studies).
During your internship, a colleague is assigned as your personal coach, or first point of contact for questions concerning your internship, planning, development, etc. Everyone is also willing and able to help you with the work duties you will be doing. It's easy to ask the people around you practical questions (or you can ask in Teams remotely, of course). At Joanknecht, we see it as only natural to help one another.
The student job
For a minimum of two days a week and for a period of at least three months, you'll be working in one of our teams. We will sit down with you to discuss which team suits you best. Aren't you sure yet where your talent will come into its own? Or which area of expertise piques your interest? Not a problem! You can get a taste of the different disciplines, so that together we can discover where your talent lies.
During your part-time job at Joanknecht, a colleague will be your personal coach or buddy. He or she is your first point of contact for questions regarding your work-study programme, planning, development, etc. Everyone is also willing and able to help you with the work duties you will be doing. It's easy to ask the people around you practical questions (or you can ask in Teams remotely, of course). At Joanknecht, we are there for each other.
Talent
Are you a motivated, spontaneous HBO or WO student who is majoring in tax, accountancy, business economics, or finance & control? Do you like taking initiative and have good communication skills? Then we're looking for you!
Does all this sound exciting, but is your study curriculum different? Let's sit down together to see how we can still help each other.
