Jr. Investment Analyst

(Sittard, min. 32 uur/week)

Kickstart your career as a Jr. Investment Analyst and help shape the future of pensions!

Are you about to graduate or have you recently graduated with a Master’s degree in Economics, Econometrics, or a related field? Do you have a strong interest in asset management and financial markets? Ready to take your first steps into the world of professional portfolio management? Then this is your opportunity!

DPS is an ambitious and dedicated pension administration organization. For over 35,000 (former) employees and retirees, we manage approximately €11 billion in assets. With a team of around 75 committed professionals, we offer pension funds a complete range of services: from pension administration and asset management to strategic advice and risk management. In short: we ensure a well-organized pension, now and in the future.

As we continue building a modern, forward-looking organization, we’re looking for a talented early-career professional to join our portfolio management team.

What will you do?

As a junior investment analyst, you will join our team of 8 portfolio managers who manage a wide range of asset classes in-house. During your trainee programme you will:

  • Gain hands-on experience managing various portfolios: from government and corporate bonds to equities and listed real estate, giving you a broad view of the profession.
  • Learn how to make responsible investment decisions that make a difference for our pension fund clients.
  • Work with your colleagues on investment proposals and analyses that strengthen our investment strategy.
  • Be given the opportunity to develop towards a specialization in our investment department or explore other opportunities within the organization.

Who are you?

  • You have (almost) completed a Master’s degree in economics, econometrics, or a related field.
  • You are interested in investing and want to use your talent to contribute to a sustainable financial sector.
  • Driven by curiosity and a sharp analytical mind, you always go for the best possible outcome. You enjoy working in an enthusiastic team and know how to bring your insights and ideas to the table in a way that they hit ground.
  • You thrive in a compact, informal work environment where you can grow and bring out the best in yourself.
  • You are fluent in Dutch, both in speech and writing.

What do we offer you?

A unique opportunity to learn the full investment process in a supportive environment that values collegiality and personal development

  • Because we are a compact organization, you will quickly be involved in various areas – from in-depth research to actually executing transactions. Not a narrowly defined task, but a broad, educational experience where you quickly take responsibility and truly make an impact.
  • You will receive the support you need and the space to further develop yourself based on your interests and talents.
  • Of course, you will receive an excellent, market-based salary that reflects your qualities and skills. In addition, a great package of secondary benefits, such as interesting learning opportunities, a personal budget of 6% on top of your salary that you can use for extra vacation days, an attractive bonus scheme, hybrid working, a beautiful, modern workplace, and of course, a solid pension plan!

Registration closes on the 2nd of march!
