!BREAKING NEWS! As you might have heard already, SCOPE is celebrating her THIRD Lustrum this year — in student lingo, this means that SCOPE is officially 15 years old. This of course calls for a celebration. The week of festivities will run from the 20th to the 25th of April 2026, characterised by events to thank and celebrate everyone who has been involved with SCOPE over the past years. What events are taking place during Lustrum week?

• Monday 20-04: Actives & Alumni Cantus (2000s theme)
• Tuesday 21-04: Special Preuv (SCOPE Polo required)
• Wednesday 22-04: Games in the Park (80s theme)
• Thursday 23-04: Party at Muziekgieterij (2010s theme)
• Friday 24-04: Boat Gala (Roaring 20s theme — black tie, dress code enforced)
• Saturday 25-04: Hangover Brunch

Who is invited to each event?

• Cantus: Current active members and alumni
• Preuv: Current active members and alumni
• Games in the Park: Everyone — no ticket required
• Muziekgieterij Party: Everyone
• Boat Gala: Current active members and alumni
• Hangover Brunch: Everyone with any ticket from Lustrum week

Which stakeholder groups include which people?

• Active members: Anyone active in a committee within SCOPE at the time of the event (20–25 April 2026)
• Passive members: Anyone who paid a membership fee to be a SCOPE member, but is not active within a committee
• Alumni: Anyone who was an active member at any point between 2011 and April 2026, but is not currently active

Where can I buy my tickets?

• Cantus (Monday): Via the SCOPE website — actives & alumni only. Tickets go on sale Monday 13-04.
• Preuv (Tuesday): Via the SCOPE website — actives & alumni only, free but registration required. Registration opens Tuesday 14-04.
• Games in the Park (Wednesday): No ticket needed, just show up.
• Muziekgieterij Party (Thursday): Via Eventix — https://eventix.shop/8stnrnq3. Tickets go on sale Thursday 16-04.
• Boat Gala (Friday): Via the SCOPE website — actives & alumni only. Tickets go on sale Friday 17-04.
• Hangover Brunch (Saturday): No separate ticket — open to everyone who holds any ticket from Lustrum week

How much does it cost?

• Cantus: €15 (active members and alumni)
• Preuv: Free — registration required (active members and alumni)
• Games in the Park: Free (everyone)
• Muziekgieterij Party: €12 early bird / €14 regular / €16 late (everyone)
• Boat Gala: €50 (active members and alumni)
• Hangover Brunch: Free with any Lustrum week ticket (everyone)
• Lustrumbook: price to be announced
• Lustrum Merch: available at events only

Are there limited spots?

Yes — spots are limited for the following events:

• Cantus: limited to 100 people
• Preuv: limited to 120 people
• Muziekgieterij: 1000 tickets
• Boat Gala: 100 tickets

All other events are open to everyone within the respective invite group. We recommend securing your tickets as soon as they go on sale.

What are the dress codes?

• Cantus: 2000s theme
• Preuv: SCOPE Polo required
• Games in the Park: 80s theme
• Muziekgieterij Party: 2010s theme
• Boat Gala: Roaring 20s — formal attire required. The dress code will be strictly enforced at the door.

Can passive members attend?

Passive members are welcome at the Games in the Park (Wednesday), the Muziekgieterij Party (Thursday), and the Hangover Brunch (Saturday). The Cantus, Preuv, and Boat Gala are reserved for active members and alumni only.

What is Captain Muff?

Captain Muff is one of SCOPE's longest-standing challenge traditions. At the Preuv, participants will have the chance to take on the Captain Muff challenge — and those who complete it will receive a piece of exclusive Lustrum merch as a reward. More details will be revealed at the event itself.

Where can I buy the Lustrumbook and Lustrum merch?

The Lustrumbook will be available for purchase via the SCOPE website at a later date once we have the photos. Lustrum merch will be sold exclusively at the events during the week — with a special opportunity to earn a piece at the Preuv by completing the Captain Muff challenge.
