    Hello,

If you're reading this, you might be interested in becoming the next Secretary at SCOPE Maastricht. Let me give you a quick insight into what this position has to offer!

As Secretary, you’ll work closely with the President on all administrative tasks, ensuring smooth daily operations while managing SCOPE’s internal and external communications. You will also be responsible for organizing GMAs, taking minutes, handling room bookings, overseeing emails, and ensuring that all administrative processes run efficiently. Since the Secretary role is at the heart of the board, you’ll often be the first point of contact for many stakeholders and play a crucial supporting role in board-wide initiatives.

This position is a great mix of strategic planning and hands-on operational work. You’ll gain valuable experience in leadership, project management, and system administration while working with a dynamic team. Whether it’s shaping SCOPE’s future, streamlining processes, or engaging with stakeholders, this role provides the perfect challenge for someone looking to make an impact.

If you’re curious to learn more or would like to grab a coffee and chat about the role, feel free to reach out to me at secretary@scope-maastricht.nl. Trust me—it’s worth it!

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

  • Sara Hussein Hassan

I am Sara Hussein Hassan, and I served as the Development Commissioner during this academic year. Here's a quick rundown on what your activities as the Development Commissioner will be:

You will manage several committees within the Development Pillar, including the Alumni Committee and Maastricht Acquisition Committee. This means coordinating diverse projects, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring that the Development Pillar continues evolving to serve SCOPE’s long-term strategic goals. As mentioned before, the key objective of the Development Pillar is to make sure the strategic goals SCOPE sets over the year align with our offerings and to maintain the community and communication with our network, whether it be Maastricht's companies, alumni, or our actives.

In case you have any more questions regarding my role, feel free to email me at external-relations@scope-maastricht.nl.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
    Sara
